Memrise

A difficult part of being a student is just remembering all the facts, vocabulary, equations, dates, and information that your teachers give you. Many teachers suggest writing flashcards so you can quiz yourself, but writing down hundreds of flashcards is time-consuming and boring, and then you have to carry around and keep track of all those stupid pieces of paper. That's where Memrise comes in. Memrise is a website/app that uses flashcards to help you memorize (get it, memrise?) all the information being thrust upon you. Memrise specializes in learning foreign languages but is still an excellent resource for anything you want to learn. It's super easy to use, all you have to do is create a set of flashcards, and Memrise will save them, quiz you with them, and keep track of your learning progress. You can even share your flashcard sets with your friends or create a set for a class you're teaching. Memrise is different than other online flashcard sites as it doesn't quiz you on all of your cards in one big set. It splits them up into more manageable chunks and quizzes you one group at a time. You start with 10 cards and once you master those, Memrise will add 10 more so that you don't overload yourself with too much information at once.
