Social Media Meets the Classroom
With more and more technology at our fingertips, we find more and more ways to distract ourselves from the work that lies ahead. But did you know there is technology out there that can actually keep you on track?! From browser extensions that monitor your surfing to apps that help you organize notes, productivity software abounds. None, however, may be more useful to students in a simple way than Remind software available here. Its full power lies in connecting school-goers of all shapes and sizes (teachers, administrators, parents, and of course...students) with push notifications in a contextual way. Assignments, meetings, soccer practice - never be left behind with the latest. With a layout as simple as any social media app out there, Remind finally brings the familiar social media user interface to the classroom scene, and with it, the appreciation of countless millennials and Gen Z'ers everywhere. For a quick look at what Remind can do for you, Brownbagteacher has you covered. And for some tidbits from the developers themselves, head over to the Remind blog.
