Articulation Station App

My three-year-old son has an expressive speech delay.  This week at his speech therapy appointment, his speech language pathologist introduced us to a cool new iPad app.  It's called Articulation Station.  The app uses a variety of strategies, such as flashcards and games, to help early learners with speech delays.  Parents and educators can customize the activities by choosing the sounds that the child is experiencing difficulties with.

For anyone wishing to become an early childhood teacher, this could be a very useful tool.  We may not be speech specialists, but with technology like this, we can become knowledgeable in different areas.  Apps like Articulation Station are great tools to incorporate in the classroom curriculum and suggest for home use.
