Pinterest is both a free app and website where you can discover new ideas, gain inspiration, and spread your own knowledge. This social network acts as an online pinboard where you can keep the things that catch your interest organized so you can go back to them or even share them with friends.
I’ve had Pinterest since I was in middle school and I’ve always been fascinated by all the new ideas readily available to me. I’ve used Pinterest in many different ways throughout the years, from picking out a DIY project to finding writing prompts for a creative writing class I had taken in high school. The possibilities really are endless!
Not only is Pinterest a good way to find new recipes that will surely impress your friends and family, but it’s also a magnificent tool for future and current teachers. It provides you with things such as decoration inspo for your classroom, ways to spice up class activities, and even tips on how to “create the perfect teaching portfolio”. As an aspiring elementary school teacher, I look forward to using Pinterest to gain inspiration for my future classroom, I think it can do the same for others as well.
