       PowerPoint has always been a useful tool when lecturing about a certain topic. However, one of the main downfalls is that sometimes it can be very boring and very dry teaching. The reason is because although the students may be listening they aren't engaged with the material being presented.
       Nearpod is a program that assists with this aspect of teaching. It is a website that allows you the ability to create interactive presentations. When creating your slides, some of the features within the presentation you can have are to draw something, respond to a poll, take a quiz as well as begin an open-ended discussion. This program also allows you the ability to review a student's individual responses as well as the whole class'. After finishing a presentation, you have the ability to get assessment reports on how well they responded to the presentation. No more falling asleep during presentations!
