HowStuffWorks

HowStuffWorks is an educational website that provides unbiased information on a wide range of subjects. The subjects covered are science, home and garden, automobiles, technology, culture, money, lifestyle, entertainment, adventure, and animals. HowStuffWorks also provides a variety of podcasts and videos to better understand certain information. You can also take quizzes on the website, to check your understanding of whatever you are learning.

Say a middle school science class wanted to learn more about enzyme reactions and hydrogen peroxide. On the website HowStuffWorks, the teacher can show them a video titled: "Why Does Hydrogen Peroxide Foam When Put On A Cut?" Or, if the class is learning Earth Science, the teacher can show them a video titled: "What If The Moon Disappeared?"

HowStuffWorks is a really useful website that teachers and students can both use to better understand a topic discussed in class and for personal learning.
