Flipped Classroom
For one of my projects in my teaching class, I have to make a flipped classroom online. Making one is turning my opinion on students using technology in the class to benefit themselves in their learning. At first, I was not really thrilled about it because for me I was always needing someone that could teach me the subject. Then as I have been in classes during my college years thus far, I have used technology in the class. In my Spanish and Math classes, our homework was online, which allowed limited times or unlimited times on answering each question. I could click the help or hint button for help. In other classes, I used canvas or other sites like that to see my reading assignments, grades, videos, articles, etc. Also, there have been discussions in some of my classes, such as my history or geography classes. These flipped classrooms provide extra materials to explain better, or more in the lessons that the teachers are trying to teach the students. I have benefited from looking at these extra materials since they have helped me better understand the lessons a textbook or a teachers can do. I still would like to have a teacher in the class, but these flipped classrooms are better set up in allowing the students to learn. We do still need teachers to explain the material, and run the courses, but these flipped classrooms do help the teachers more than textbooks.
