From chalkboard to whiteboard and now finally: the Smart Board! Gone are the days of messy chalk or dried up markers! Smart boards are becoming popular teaching tools and for good reason! Information can be presented very clearly and precisely in a powerpoint fashion, but teachers and students can make marks on the board just like the good old days! The smart board blends new technology with old-school body language for improved instruction.
As if that's not enough, now you can connect to other smart boards worldwide in real time! This might come in handy if you're working collaboratively with another group of students on a project. Each class can contribute thoughts and learn from each other simultaneously. If you're lucky, maybe you'll be teaching on a smart board someday!
