Okee in Medical Imaging App
Coming to the hospital for a medical imaging appointment and not sure what to expect? There's an app that you can download on your phone to help your child understand what will happen during their appointment! With Okee in Medical Imaging, your child can start some adventures with training in holding their breath with Puffer, keeping still with Jellyfish, and helping Squid fill up with glow ink. This can help your child have more health literacy before their doctor can even explain to them what's happening! With this app, your child can help Okee and his friends to build submarines in MRI, make milkshakes in Fluoroscopy, look for pictures in CT, find the broken bones in X-ray, search for sea stars in Ultrasound, and learn more about nuclear medicine. Okee in Medical Imaging is a great experience and distraction for children who are feeling weary about their doctor appointment.
