Keeping in Contact

     As a mother and a perspective teacher, I can not emphasize the importance of being able to get in touch with my children's teacher and future students parents. At the beginning of this school year, my daughters elementary school started using a program called Class Dojo.  During Open House all of the parents were given a unique password and directions on how to download and access the app.
With this program I am able to send and receive real time text messages and see how my daughter is doing throughout the day.I can see if she is satying on task or getting into trouble.I am also able to send and receive pictures of my daughter and the class.
     By using this app it is a lot faster to speak with the teacher and the principle. If there is a message I receive a notification just like a text message. If I were blue change or add anything it would be to add a video chat so that there would be a way to have children attend class on days that they may miss due to doctor appointments.
