Moby Max
Moby Max is another tool that was introduced to me during my work as an educational site assistant for ACCESS's 21st century program at River Oaks Elementary. It is an educational tool used across Dearborn Public Schools and in over 80% of K-8 public schools. Moby Max is used to "find and fix learning gaps covering Common Core, NGSS, and state standards". Moby Max offers programs in mathematics, language/grammar, speech and vocabulary, science, phonics, writing, state test prep, and more. Educators are provided with tools for diagnostic testing, progress monitoring, assessments, lesson plans, and daily goals. Students play games to earn badges and certificates and districts can even host contests.
Moby Max is not just an online resource for practice and learning. They also offer tools to create interactive whiteboard activities, worksheets, and skills reviews. Moby Max even rewards posters, parties, and other prizes for schools who invest in their programs.
In addition to a support team online, Moby Max also hosts free live training webinars for educators every Tuesday and Thursday.
