D2L
D2L is a learning management system used by Michigan State University, Kaplan, Walmart, University of Arizona, and thousands of other educational communities across 750 countries. They offer platforms for K-12, higher education, and corporate learning.
My favorite of the three products is the K-12 platform called Brightspace. It is compatible both online and on mobile devices.
It has a very child-friendly look to it and includes tools for weblinks, activities, announcements, etc. It also has features for teachers to track progress and host webinars during snow days or special events.
For corporate use, I have personally seen more advanced learning platforms in terms of aesthetics and statistical features, but D2L still offers many useful features such as a cloud-based platform for convenient access anywhere at any time, ePortfolios, discussion boards, and video engagement.
