Hooda Math is a fantastic website that integrates playing
games and learning Math. Designated for all grade levels Hooda Math offers a
vast variety of games and activities to choose from. The diversity of this page
allows you to pick a grade level, category of game, and Math subject. Hooda
Math facilitates the use of logic, critical thinking, and math skills and
integrates them in to the games they play. As an educator you can create your
own account and have a designated class page that once given the six-digit
code, any students from your class can sign in and complete tasks. Hooda Math
also offers tutorials on how to complete certain math problems for specific
grades. Hooda Math offers pretests that the students can work from and prepare
for the real tests. Hooda Math has many dimensions and platforms to choose
from. I even found many of the games to be fun and so did my 9-year-old. What I
like about Hooda Math is the games they created. Almost every game I picked was
fun, and yet relevant to core content area.
