Typing.com is a wonderful tool for students to use for
typing practice! This site is great for students of all ages. There is a range
of lessons for different levels of typing. Beginner level lessons teach a few
letters at a time, and eventually students will be at the advanced level, where
they are using the entire keyboard to type full sentences. Typing.com has tests
with different amounts of time frames to test your WPM. This site is kid
friendly as well. Students can play typing games for practice, and some of the
games are really cool because they are modeled after popular games such as
Fruit Ninja. Typing.com’s game is called “Keyboard Ninja”. When you sign up for
a free account, students will be able to track their progress and earn badges. This,
in my opinion, is the best site for typing skills.
