Here is how it works; each student sets up their own account and links it to the teachers account. From that point you, the teacher can then assign practice problems based on that day’s lesson. If the student grasped the lesson and concept, they will be able to solve the problems assigned without difficulty. However, if they cannot solve the problems then this application walks students step by step on what they did wrong and how they can fix their answer. Unlike similar math programs, IXL features an actual human talking to the students so the instructions feel much more natural and helps clear up any ambiguities. You can even assign homework right on the app or website for the students to do a home. You also get immediate feedback so grading is a breeze!
