Trello

I've found an exciting web-based application called Trello.  It is a project management based software that won The Best Project Management Based Software Award for 2016.  It is very useful in multiple fields.  In education, the program can be used for a project based learning, lesson planning, research project board or as a classroom newsletter.  Trello allows the teacher to invite not only students, but also parents in on classroom updates and students progress in class.  Trello utilizes boards (which correspond to projects) and cards within the boards (which represent tasks).  The cards can be used to track progress in a major assignment/project.  The benefit of this program is that there are applications for the program available on iOS and Android operating systems.  Finally, it is free!  So try it in your classroom.
