iCivics
When teachers teach civics they come up against a hard wall. The students are just not interested in something so dry as learning about how a government works. So teachers are constantly looking for ways to spice up their lessons and they have to look no further. iCivics has an entire website dedicated to teachers so they can instill the knowledge of the amazing government that we have. There is a section for the students with games to play. Teachers can assign the students to play the games in class or at home. Either way, the games are incredibly education and teaches the students what it takes to be president, or how a law is made, and they can even solve world problems. There is also a section for the teachers with lesson plans, curriculum units, and ways to engage their students with out of the box ideas. iCivics whole purpose is for the next generation to be informed and to be able to lead our future properly.
