Netflix and Learn

I know what you're thinking. "Is he really gonna talk about Netflix?" Yes, yes, he is. Netflix is a wonderful learning tool for the classroom. Docu-series like World War II in Colour, Bill Nye, the Science Guy, or the Empire Games can be used in the classroom to enhance and visualize lessons such as the Invasion of Normandy, gravity and light optics, or the rise and fall of the Roman Empire. Or even to reward students by watching a movie based on a book they read such as The Great Gatsby. Netflix also saves time, money, and space. You save time by not having to physically go to a store and search for the obsolete DVD you want. You save money by only paying $12 a month for thousands of movies and shows. Write it off as a deductible on your taxes and technically it is free!! Finally, you save space by not having to find a spot to put that obsolete DVD that you're going to end up losing the moment you need it. Also, less pollution in the world from the manufacturing of plastics. You don't want turtles to die, do you? Maybe watch Planet Earth I/II on Netflix.
