Loom is a simple and free screen recorder for Mac, Windows,
and Chromebooks. All you need to do is install Loom’s extension in your Google
Chrome browser. From there, you can start recording from your camera and screen
with audio directly from your Chrome browser. Once done, Loom creates a private
link to your newly created video that you can share with whomever you wish!
Loom is also completely free and unlimited! Everyone who signs up to Loom gains
access to unlimited recording times, unlimited storage, and video trimming
capabilities. This is an excellent resource to use for teachers. One significant
application of this service would be to use it for Parent/Teacher notes.
Sending home letters can sometimes be easily ignored or even misunderstood by
busy parents. Providing parents with an easy to view video explaining your
ideas and concerns can be a great solution!
