VoiceThread
VoiceThread is new to me this year, but I actually enjoy it a lot. VoiceThread is a website that teachers can utilize for their classroom. According to the website, teachers can use VoiceThread by "creating, sharing, and commenting on images, PowerPoint presentations, videos, audio files, documents, and PDFs, using microphone, webcam, text, phone, and audio-file upload". I really like this tool because when I think of using it in my classroom, I think about having it available as a tool for extra help on lessons for students and parents. This would be a great tool for parents that want to help their child, a child that needs extra help understanding, or a student that has been absent. There is many ways to use this online tool, this is just how I personally might use it. VoiceThread is a great way to engage students and integrate technology into your classroom.
