Reader
Recently, I was playing around on an iPad, trying to get an idea for a class assignment. While doing so, I came across this app called "Reader." Prior to clicking on it, I never heard nor knew about it; I was completely brand new to it. To my amazement, the app was pretty awesome. It's user friendly and very entertaining. What it contains are simple, basic, kindergarten geared words that have animations, sounds and pictures designed around it. For example, the word dog will have the animation of a barking dog. After the child is affiliated with the word, the then forms various sentence and the child has to drag the word to the part of the sentence where it fits best. I think this would be a great learning tool to use in the classrooms; like said before, it's very entertaining, colorful, and user-friendly.
