Peergrade helps students and teachers by making giving feedback on students work easier and beneficial for the students. With peergrade, students can upload their work for a certain assignment and this tool automatically distributes the assignments amongst the students for them to do their own peer evaluations. The evaluations are anonymous and the peergrade helps you see what rubric is working for the evaluations and how it could be better. After the students evaluate each other's work, they get their own work back to see how they did and read some thoughtful comments. When this process is done, the teacher receives a report on how students did and what feedback they were given.

Nearpod
Nearpod is a different approach to regular powerpoint presentations. It's better! With Nearpod, you can make presentations for your class in minutes and the best thing about this tool is that it's mobile! Any student can look at your presentation on the screen and have it in their own hands. Whether it's on a tablet or even their phone. During the presentation, students can comment right on the slides because Nearpod is interactive. If students are unable to make it to class, they can join your Nearpod session from anywhere so that they are not missing out on the teaching that you're doing. Nearpod; a different approach to lecturing.

K12reader.com
K12reader.com is a website that focuses on providing reading resources for educators. For English language arts teachers there are a lot of resources that can be utilized. The website is divided into different sections which are the following; grammar, spelling words, reading skills, vocabulary, composition. Teachers can look at the menu bar on the left hand side and see a wide variety of choices within each section to choose from. The website offers free downloadable worksheets with the Common Core State Standards that it satisfies. The Learning Center section has resources, blogs, and articles. There is also a section with lesson templates and graphic aids to help teachers create engaging lessons. It’s worthwhile if you are an ELA teacher to look at this site.
Commonsense.org
Commonsense.org is a great resource that does just what the name says. It organizes education related topics in a way that makes sense. It’s fairly easy to use and has something for anyone interested in education and helping children do their best. It has three broad categories; parents, educators, and advocates. The parents section has more resources than can be listed practically in this post. It allows parents to find appropriate books, movies, and digital resources to help their child. The educator section has reviews of resources with links to useful websites. It also offers lesson plans to use and teaching tips. It offers professional development courses for schools to use. In the advocate section, it highlights legislation that will have an impact on education. It has a section that allows users to pick which state to look at to see what state legislatures are doing concerning education. The is an excellent resource to make use of.
